rEFInd on iMac 27″ 2011 (Mac has to support EFI)

  1. Prepare USB-Stick with Bootcamp Drivers using Bootcamp (but nothing else there)
  2. Partition
    1. OS X Mavericks (250GB, Mac OS Extended (Journaled))
    2. WIN7 (250GB, FAT32)
    3. LINUX (250GB, FAT32)
    4. Mac2 (250GB, Mac OS Ext J)
    5. Mac3 (500GB, Mac OS Ext J)
    6. Rest (2,5TB Mac OS Ext J)
  3. Install rEFInd
  4. Reboot
  5. Insert Win7 CD
  6. Reboot into Win7 „EFI Legacy“
  7. Re-format Partition 3 (WIN7) to NTFS in the Installer
  8. Install on Partition 3
  9. Reboot (to the CD I think)
  10. Finish installation
  11. Reboot (to the actuall installation)
  12. Insert prepared USB-Stick, click on „setup“
  13. Reboot into Win
  14. Reboot into OS X
  15. Re-Partition the last (2,5TB) HDD into a 7th one of 250GB at the end.
  16. Insert OS X CD
  17. Reboot, pressing ‚alt‘ to load the CD (not possible via rEFInd)
  18. Install second OS X on last partitions

Now, MBR is hybrid. Changing partitions is to be done carefully. I think it should not be done via disk utility.
